How do I apply for a job with ANGLO?
Head over to our Careers Site where you will find a list of all the job openings we have. Click on the one you want to apply for and once you've read all the information associated with the role, click Apply Now. You also have the option to share the job opening with someone you know, if you think they would be a good fit.
Does it take a long time to fill out the application form?
The initial application form is quite short! We only ask you for the basic information we need like your name, contact information and your availability. We also ask you to upload your CV which is where we can find the rest of the information we need at this stage.

What happens after I apply?
When you submit your application:
You will receive an email from noreply@anglo.uk.com which invites you to set a password to your account on our Recruitment Portal (check your Spam if you don't see it).
We will take time to review your application. We endeavour to respond to all applicants. You will either receive an email inviting you to book an interview with us (via Google Meet) or you will receive an email saying your application hasn't been successful.
If you are invited to interview and are subsequently offered a job, all further communication will take place by email. You can see the recruitment process in detail here.

I applied but didn't get any response
We try to respond to everybody that applies, whether they are successful or not. We usually reply in a (working) day or two but it can sometimes take longer when we are very busy.
If you have applied and are waiting for a response, double check your spam for emails from @anglo.uk.com. If there are, make sure to click 'Not spam' and add the sender to your contacts to ensure you receive our emails correctly.

If the email is not in your inbox or in your Spam inbox, visit the Recruitment Portal and click 'Forgot Password'. Follow the prompts.

What is the candidate profile I have been asked to fill in?
When you first applied to work with ANGLO, we only asked for you a small amount of information. Now we need to collect more in order to onboard you. Since our students are under 18 we need to perform Enhanced DBS checks (or similar Criminal Records Checks if you live outside the UK), and to obtain these, we ask you for the necessary documentation. We also ask for other supporting information.
Filling out your candidate profile should be straightforward (look for the βΉ icons which give you extra help), but if you run into any issues, email your Head Office Recruitment Manager.
Do I need to fill in all the information in my candidate profile in one go?
No, you don't. Complete as much as you can as we ask for it. You may be asked to sign and return some documents by us, which you won't have access to until we send you them.
Any time you complete a section of your candidate profile, remember to click 'Save Section' to avoid any information you entered not being saved correctly.

How do I update you if my address/mobile number/details change?
If your details change at any time, just log on to your Recruitment Portal account and update the relevant information. If your details change after you complete your Starter Checklist, you'll need to email payroll@anglo.uk.com with the details.
